younger siblings, and I completed my journey there when I turned 18. I entered as a child who had been forced to grow up way too soon\u2014carrying an immense responsibility for my siblings, as if I were their mother. Life had forced me to mature early, and I never really got the chance to just be a child.<\/p>\n<h3 data-line-height=\"m\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.35em;\" data-text-color=\"primary\">About the Journey\u2026<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-line-height=\"m\">Over the years at Talpiot, I went through a deep and meaningful transformation. I learned to let go of responsibilities that were never meant to be on my shoulders, to express my emotions, to trust the adults around me, and to believe in myself. I was finally able to be a kid my own age, and I left the Village as a young woman filled with confidence, independence, dreams, and aspirations. If I could sum it up in one sentence: I entered Talpiot as a 25-year-old, and I left it as an 18-year-old.<\/p>\n<p><split><\/split><\/p>\n<p data-line-height=\"m\"><strong>Where I Am Today\u2026<\/strong><br \/>Today, I live an independent life, have been in a stable and loving relationship for several years, and am building my future with confidence and self-belief.
