Talpiot’s Graduates Program
“Wings for Life” is a unique, innovative program that supports residential-program graduates in the early stages of transitioning to independent living. Its goal is to equip them with practical, emotional, and social tools that help them integrate into society as capable, confident young adults.
Program participants receive focused preparation for military or national service, gain basic financial management skills, learn to run a household – cooking, basic maintenance, health and medical care – and explore topics such as personal identity, healthy relationships, and mental health.
A key part of Talpiot’s approach is continuity. After their time in the residential program and school years end, graduates continue to receive emotional and professional support.
The “Graduates’ Home” provides personal guidance, including involvement of a social worker, help with housing, support in integrating into work or studies, and connection to the community – all while maintaining ongoing human connection that provides stability and a sense of security during the transition to independent life.
At Talpiot, we place strong emphasis on ongoing connection with parents and family – recognizing that even in adulthood, a supportive family relationship can be a vital source of strength, belonging, and emotional stability. Parents are invited to take an active part in the process through conversations, meetings, and professional guidance. Renewed connection supports self-worth and strengthens the transition to independent life.
What matters most is that graduates never feel alone – even after they finish school and leave the residential program.
Every donation, large or small, opens a door for children – to opportunity, security, and growth.
